These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Boffo Battle at boffobattle.com and related services (the "Service"), operated by Roger Tinch as an individual ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are 13 or older and that you are able to enter into these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information when you register, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share your account or create accounts using another person's identity.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Service.
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, or otherwise interfere with fair play, matchmaking, or rankings.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
- Choose a username or submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable.
- Resell, exploit commercially, or scrape the Service without our permission.
We may remove content, reset usernames, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Virtual items
The Service includes virtual items such as cards, packs, Credits, and Stardust. These items have no real-world monetary value, are licensed to you for use within the game only, and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside the Service. We may add, modify, balance, or remove virtual items and game mechanics at any time as part of operating and improving the game.
Intellectual property and movie data
The Boffo Battle name, game design, code, and original artwork are owned by us and protected by applicable law. Movie and person data and images are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) and belong to their respective owners.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Boffo Battle is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TMDB or any film studio, distributor, or rights holder.
Service availability
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, or virtual items, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
